Honoring a single foodservice packaging product that, through its use of graphics and graphic design elements, enhances the aesthetic/visual appeal of the package to the consumer and creates a great brand image and awareness for the operator.
The goal for this cup and lid was to project a decadent, indulgent image that would mirror the image of the Chantico drinking chocolate. The embossed pattern on the overwrap is upscale in design, and the chocolate-brown color helps deliver the feel of the beverage. Altogether a different feel than other Starbucks cups.
The deliberate use of the company’s Patrón icon as the focal point of the piece was designed to personalize the brand and resonate with the core Hispanic consumer.
Design firm Zaudhaus used unique illustrations and a color bar scheme to help consumers understand the different types of teas offered. The visuals entice consumers and offer “an adventure in every tin.”
