WFF Conference Draws 3,000 Attendees, Social Media Buzz

The Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF), the industry’s premier leadership development organization, hosted its 2015 Conference that celebrated the culmination of its 25th anniversary and featured an exciting roster of industry and world-renowned keynote speakers. Three-thousand attendees from the U.S. and Canada participated in the event. Over the course of four days, the conference garnered nearly 100 million Twitter impressions—the third highest number in the country at the time.

WFF Presents Outstanding Board Service Award

The Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF), the industry’s premier leadership development organization, announced that Marie Perry, interim chief financial officer, senior vice president, controller, and treasurer for Brinker International Inc., is the recipient of the WFF Outstanding Board Service Award. The award was presented during the 2015 Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida March 8–11 at the Orlando World Center Marriott.

WFF Conference Aims to Change the Face of Leadership

In the restaurant industry, 60 percent of frontline managers are women. From the perspective of the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF), the figure signifies considerable progress since the organization was founded in 1989. Moving up the corporate ladder, only 15 percent of women hold leadership roles, meaning that the WFF still has their work cut out.

Women’s Foodservice Forum Features 3 Keynote Speakers

The Women's Foodservice Forum (WFF) announced that industry icons Buffalo Wild Wings CEO Sally Smith, Coca-Cola Chairman and CEO Muhtar Kent, and McDonald's outgoing CEO Don Thompson will keynote the 2015 WFF Annual Leadership Development Conference to be held on March 8–11, 2015 at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida. The lineup of renowned thought leaders will also include best-selling author Daniel Pink and long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad.

WFF Announces Program for Executive Summit

Women’s Foodservice Forum announced the content and speakers for its annual Executive Summit, taking place July 28-30, 2014 at The Roosevelt New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans.

Programming for this three-day event is designed exclusively for foodservice executive leaders and includes keynote speakers and educational content fueled by Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

“Executive Summit is the only event designed for foodservice executives to develop their leadership acumen and strategic connections,” says Anna Mason, general manager of WFF.
