Baskin-Robbins Recruits Vets with Franchising Program

Veterans Day may have passed, but ice-cream brand Baskin-Robbins is continuing the celebration with its latest franchising incentive program that aims to recruit military veterans to its franchising ranks.

The initiative, which waives the initial franchising fee of $25,000 for U.S. military veterans, aims to ease the way for veterans to start their own business.

Bill Mitchell, senior vice president and brand officer for Baskin-Robbins, says his experience as a military veteran helped inspire the brand to create the program.

Baskin-Robbins Wants You to Help Create New Flavor

Baskin-Robbins kicks off its third annual Create Baskin’s Next Favorite Flavor Contest, which invites ice cream fans to concoct their own original ice cream flavors using Baskin-Robbins’ virtual flavor creator for a chance to have it featured in Baskin-Robbins shops nationwide in 2013. 

Baskin-Robbins Unmasks Halloween Ice Cream Cakes

Baskin-Robbins is offering a special lineup of ice cream cakes for Halloween. Available now at participating Baskin-Robbins locations nationwide, these festive ice cream cakes are perfect for this hair-raising holiday. Guests can customize each cake by choosing their favorite ice cream flavor, including October's Flavor of the Month, Trick Oreo Treat, which features vanilla-flavored ice cream with orange creme-filled Oreo cookies, as well as Baby Ruth and Butterfinger candy pieces mixed in.

Baskin-Robbins to Offer Dunkin' K-Cups in California

Baskin-Robbins now has something new and exciting for guests in California alongside its world-famous ice cream, frozen treats, and custom ice cream cakes.

The brand announced that that participating Baskin-Robbins shops in California will offer Dunkin’ Donuts K-Cup packs, making “America’s Favorite Coffee” available in California for the very first time for use with Keurig single-cup brewing systems.
