Ben & Jerry’s announced its newest limited batch ice cream flavor, Scotchy Scotch Scotch. Created in honor of Ron Burgundy, the TV news anchor with a penchant for all things scotch, the flavor is a concoction of butterscotch ice cream with ribbons of butterscotch swirl.

“Scotchy, Scotch, Scotch is a delicious ice cream, and I hope Ben and Jerry consider my other suggestions,” Burgundy says. “Malt liquor marshmallow, well liquor bourbon peanut butter, and cheap white wine sherbet.”

Ben & Jerry's "ReinCONEates" Fan Favorite

What is the proper grieving period for a dearly departed... ice cream flavor? Regardless, for Ben & Jerry's fans who have counted White Russian as one of their favorite Ben & Jerry's flavors, the time for mourning is over! After years of dealing with the loss, laying flowers at the flavor’s headstone at the Ben & Jerry’s flavor graveyard, and writing to the company asking for the flavor to come back, the fan-favorite White Russian is being reinCONEated! Fans can celebrate by stopping by their local scoop shop across the country to taste the sweet surprise.

Ben & Jerry's Truck Doles Out Free Scoops in L.A.

Thirty-four years ago, two homemade ice cream guys named Ben and Jerry opened up the front door at their little mom and pop Scoop Shop in Burlington, Vermont, to celebrate their first year of business by handing out free ice cream all day long.

Fast-forward from 1979 to 2013 and Ben & Jerry’s is still giving it away. On its anniversary, Ben & Jerry’s brought its unique flavors to the Cinco de Mayo Festival in Los Angeles. The truck is just getting started as it embarks on a month-long tour to bring Ben & Jerry’s just in time to beat the heat of the season.

If At First You Don’t Succeed

Outside the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream factory in Waterbury, Vermont, past a white picket fence, sits a group of colorful tombstones shaded by large overhanging tree branches.

“It swirled in our heads, it danced in our dreams, it proved not to be though, the best of ice creams,” the epitaph reads for Sugar Plum, a Ben & Jerry’s flavor that was short-lived from 1989 to 1990.

This Flavor Graveyard is where the ice cream concept buries its dead flavors, some of which, like Sugar Plum, were utter failures. But they weren’t entirely fruitless.

Ben & Jerry's Blend Smoothies, Shakes for New Product

From March 15 through May 31, Ben & Jerry's scoop shops are serving up the Liz Lemon Schmake, which consists of the new Greek Frozen Yogurt flavor, Liz Lemon, blended with Berry Berry and sorbet.

In addition to the Schmake, Ben & Jerry's is offering the Liz Lemon Waffle Bowl Sundae.

The item includes a freshly baked waffle bowl, Liz Lemon Greek Frozen Yogurt, Berry Berry sauce, and whipped cream.
