Burger 21 Builds Bigger Presence in Orlando, FL

Burger 21, a new better-burger franchise founded by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants, announced it is targeting additional areas in the greater Orlando market for future development in 2013.

Target cities include Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, Winter Garden, Lake Mary, and Celebration. To date, Burger 21 has six restaurants open in Florida and 18 franchised locations in development along the East Coast.

Burger 21 Announces New Franchise Agreements in Florida

Burger 21, a new better burger franchise founded by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants Inc., announces the signing of two new multi-unit franchise agreements in Florida. Seven new restaurants will be developed over the next several years in the Fort Myers - Naples corridor, Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, Davie, and Pembroke Pines. The agreements are a result of Burger 21’s aggressive expansion efforts to bring its burgers and shakes to cities across the country.

Burger 21, a better-burger franchise founded by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants, announced its priority markets for franchise development in the second quarter of 2013.

These markets include Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, and the Washington, D.C. metro area.

Burger 21 Takes Over New York, Florida

Burger 21, a new better-burger franchise founded by the owners of The Melting PotRestaurants, announced the signing of two new franchise deals for the territories of Albany, New York, and Sarasota, Florida.

The deal will bring the first Burger 21 restaurant to the state of New York and expands the brand’s footprint to a total of seven states.

The company is hosting a live webinar on November 1 to discuss its expansion strategy to bring its chef-inspired burger creations to more communities across the country. 

Burger 21 Targets South Florida in Next Step for Expansion

Burger 21, a new fast-casual concept founded by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants, announced that it plans to target several key territories in South Florida, including Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Aventura, for expansion.  

Earlier this year, the “beyond the better burger” concept signed four franchise deals for a total of six franchised units in Orlando, Florida; Atlanta; and Voorhees, New Jersey.

As the concept targets South Florida for further expansion, Burger 21 envisions South Florida potentially supporting approximately 20 or more locations.
