Burger 21 to Heat Up the 2013 Amstel Light Burger Bash

For the first time, Burger 21, a new better burger franchise founded by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants Inc. with five locations open and 10 in development on the East Coast, will bring its hand-crafted burgers to the Amstel Light Burger Bash presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats and hosted by Rachael Ray, at the 12th annual Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE.

Burger 21 Grows to 11 Units in 2012, Plans More Expansion

Burger 21, a new fast-casual concept founded by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants, announced that it signed franchise agreements with six different entities in six states in 2012 to develop a total of 11 restaurants as part of its aggressive growth strategy to bring its crafted burgers and hand-dipped shakes to more cities across the country.

Burger 21 Makes Its Debut in NC, D.C.

Burger 21, a fast-casual concept founded by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants, announced that it has signed a franchise deal to open one restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a multiunit deal to develop four new restaurants throughout Fairfax County, Virginia, and Montgomery County, Maryland. 

These latest agreements are part of the brand’s aggressive growth strategy to bring its crafted burgers and hand-dipped shakes to more cities across the country. 

To date, Burger 21 has five units open and 10 franchised restaurants in development along the East Coast.

Burger 21 to Open North Carolina Locations

The company is hosting a live webinar on November 1 to discuss its expansion strategy to bring its chef-inspired burger creations to more communities across the country. 

Burger 21 Targets South Florida in Next Step for Expansion

Burger 21, a new fast-casual concept founded by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants, announced that it plans to target several key territories in South Florida, including Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Aventura, for expansion.  

Earlier this year, the “beyond the better burger” concept signed four franchise deals for a total of six franchised units in Orlando, Florida; Atlanta; and Voorhees, New Jersey.

As the concept targets South Florida for further expansion, Burger 21 envisions South Florida potentially supporting approximately 20 or more locations.

Quick-serve and fast-casual restaurants are meeting today’s demand for variety head-on, but they’re not just doing it with menu diversification. Some are providing customers with greater selections in the condiments they offer, allowing guests to customize their own meal with expansive condiment bars.

And it’s not just a rote selection they’re offering, either; these are top-notch products, since it seems traditional line-ups of mustard, mayo, ketchup, and ranch dressing simply don’t, well, cut the mustard anymore.

Burger 21 Seeks Atlanta-Based Franchisees

Burger 21, a new fast-casual concept founded by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc., announced that it plans to target several key territories of Atlanta, including the Cumberland Mall area in Cobb County and the Perimeter Mall area in DeKalb County, for expansion opportunities. 

Earlier this summer, the concept signed its first Atlanta franchise agreement to open two Burger 21 locations in the North Alpharetta and Buford/Mall of Georgia areas beginning next year. 

Burger 21 Targets Atlanta as Growth Market

Burger 21, a new fast casual concept founded by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc., announced today that it has signed a two-unit franchise deal in Atlanta, as it targets Atlanta as a growth market and opens additional territories for development in the area.

Corley and Meg Steward have signed an agreement to open two Burger 21 locations in the North Alpharetta and Buford/Mall of Georgia areas. This deal comes on the heels of two signed deals for a total of three franchised units in Orlando, Florida, inked earlier this year.
