Charleys Philly Steaks

Charleys Philly Steaks Expands in Bahamas, Russia

Charleys Philly Steaks is expanding its international footprint with store openings in the Bahamas and Russia. The brand’s first location in the Bahamas opened in the capital of Nassau. It is located in the food court of the region’s largest enclosed shopping center, the Mall of Marathon.

The first of 25 locations has opened in Russia. The Moscow-based restaurants are slated to open through a franchise partnership agreement. Two additional stores are scheduled to open before the end of the year.

The Ups and Downs of Food Courts

Food courts present an array of choices and flavors in quick-service and grab-and-go formats, and consumers have come to expect competitive variety in spaces like malls, airports, and transportation centers. But experts say brands positioned in food courts won’t attract attention simply by having the real estate. Just as with standalone units, brands must market what differentiates them, seek spaces that align with their offerings, and meet the expectations of diners seeking convenient service.

Cajun Chicken LTO Spices Up Charleys Philly Steaks Menu

Charley’s Grilled Subs and Charleys Philly Steaks restaurant concepts are spicing up their menus with a Cajun Chicken limited-time offer sandwich.

The Cajun Chicken sandwich will be offered at the end of April through June at Charleys U.S. locations and Army and Air Force Exchange locations worldwide. It offers Charleys customers a more robust, spicier Philly flavor option.

Charleys Philly Steaks To Debut in Russia

Gosh Enterprises, known for its Charley’s Grilled Subs and Charleys Philly Steaks fast-casual restaurant concepts, signed a development agreement to open 25 locations in Russia with the partnership of Aurelian Brand Development (ABD) and Oriando Limited. ABD is a part of Aurelian Global Holdings.

The agreement will pioneer the launch of the Charleys Philly Steaks brand into the Russian market. ABD, which develops American retail and food and beverage brands in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and South America, owns several other fast casual restaurant concept franchises.
