CiCi's Hires Sonic, Jack in the Box Vet as CFO

CiCi's Pizza announced new chief financial officer Jim Lebs, who brings a 20-year track record of streamlining and implementing organizational structure, technology, and business processes to the company.

Lebs comes to CiCi’s from Sonic Drive-In, where he drove a transformation of systems and processes as vice president of supply chain. He also served as the chief facilitator of the “Higher Store-Level Profits Task Group” of the Franchise Advisory Council (FAC) and was the business owner of the “Maximizing Store-Level Profits” strategic initiative.

CiCi’s Rebrand Gets Help from the Experts: Customers

A little over a year ago, CiCi’s Pizza realized it had a problem. Through its own research, help from third-party data, and consumer feedback, the Texas-based concept discovered it was in need of a rebrand.

Executives wanted the rebrand to help return CiCi’s to the tried and true restaurant basics of quality, cleanliness, and service. And to get it right, it sought help from the experts: its customers.

CiCi’s Pizza to Open First Location in Missouri

CiCi's Pizza announced the signing of a franchise agreement with Fogle Enterprises Inc. to bring its first location to Branson, Missouri, by early spring 2015.

With nearly 500 restaurants in 33 states, Coppell, Texas–based CiCi’s Pizza is best known for its family-friendly atmosphere, endless variety of pizzas on its custom buffet, and made-from-scratch dough. The new Branson restaurant, located at 3460 W76 Country Blvd., will also house a large game room area to complement the family friendly atmosphere.

CiCi's Pizza has hired two new vice presidents to improve operational systems and help grow the chain.

Steven Jones has been named vice president of operation services and training. A 25-year restaurant industry veteran who has been a leader at Arby’s and KFC, Jones will focus on improving CiCi’s operational systems and processes.

CiCi's Pizza Welcomes New Senior Real Estate Manager

CiCi's Pizza, known for its endless pizza, pasta, salad and dessert buffet, named Richard Hoying as its new senior manager of real estate. Hoying, a real estate and franchise executive with more than 25 years of experience, will support CiCi’s strategic growth strategy through real estate development in domestic and international markets, as well as in nontraditional venues. Among additional responsibilities, Hoying will also leverage broker relations to support corporate and franchise growth and will lead franchisees through the real estate development process.
