Cold Stone Creamery invites Canadians on an epic mission of ice cream happiness as it introduces the new Cold Stone Blast, Canada's newest super-premium blended ice cream treat made with real Canadian cream and Cold Stone's signature mix-ins.

Cold Stone Franchisees File Lawsuit Against Company

A group of Cold Stone Creamery franchisees filed a lawsuit against the company this week over a dispute relating to the company’s Flexible Marketing Plan (FMP) and gift-card breakage policy.

The law firm of Zarco Einhorn Salkowski & Brito, P.A. filed the lawsuit in Miami-Dade County, Florida, on behalf of the National Association of Cold Stone Creamery Franchisees (NIACCF).

Cold Stone Creamery Presents "Hot For Cookie"

Cold Stone Creamery will offer a limited time addition, Hot for Cookie, to their Hot Stone Warm and Delicious plated dessert line beginning January 18.

 

This delectable treat is made with a warm medley of a baked Chocolate Chip Cookie and rich Cookie Dough topped with French Vanilla Ice Cream, Whipped Topping, and Shaved Chocolate.

 

DTT Partners With Cold Stone Franchisee Four Dips

DTT Surveillance announced an exclusive surveillance partnership with Cold Stone Creamery franchisee, Four Dips, LLC. 

The installations at all Wisconsin-based Four Dips restaurants were recently completed, concluding the enterprise-wide rollout of DTT’s loss prevention solution. DTT provides a wide array of managed services to the Cold Stone franchise community. 

Cold Stone is using surveillance cameras, SmartAudits, video exception reports, operations alerts, and other loss prevention services to ensure the greatest experience for their customers.

Fruit Blooms on Menus

As consumers increasingly seek healthy, great-tasting food, it seems that more chefs and restaurant operators are looking to fruit as a perfect ingredient for menu items.

The health benefits are obvious. Most fruit is low in fat, sodium, and calories; full of vitamins and minerals; and has no cholesterol. It also provides natural sweetness.

Fruit has been part of limited-service restaurants’ menus for decades, mostly in desserts or in beverages like orange juice or strawberry milkshakes. Now it’s expanding.

Cold Stone Fro-Yo Going National

Cold Stone Creamery announced that it is rolling out its new frozen yogurt offering to all locations nationwide.

The frozen yogurt, which launched in select locations in January, will be available alongside the chain’s signature ice cream for customers to choose when customizing their Cold Stone Creations.

Ray Karam, senior tastemaster for Cold Stone, says the concept took its time before jumping on board the latest fro-yo bandwagon because it wanted to ensure the trend was here to stay.
