DQ Announces Plans for Expansion in Kuwait

The Dairy Queen system, part of Berkshire Hathaway, announced plans to expand the brand’s presence in the Middle East with a multiunit development deal for DQ Grill & Chill restaurants and DQ Treat stores.

Durra Khaled For Foodstuffs Co., a subsidiary of KMGC, signed a long-term franchise agreement with the Dairy Queen system and plans to develop more than 20 DQ Grill & Chill restaurants and DQ Treat stores throughout the country of Kuwait over the next five years.

Milk chocolate Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are blended with DQ vanilla soft serve. The Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Blizzard Treat is the featured Blizzard Treat in November and is available in four sizes, including the Mini, as well as in a waffle cone.

The Dairy Queen system is planning a spooktacular celebration to kick off the fall season with the fan favorite Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat as the featured Blizzard of the Month for October.

A combination of pumpkin pie and crunchy pie pieces blended with DQ vanilla soft serve, the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat is available now through October 27 at participating Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill restaurants nationwide. The Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat comes in four sizes, including the popular Mini, and also can be served in a waffle cone.
