Dunkin’ Lays Out Plans for 45 SoCal Stores

Dunkin’ Donuts announced it has signed its first Southern California multi-unit store development agreements with four franchise groups for a total commitment of 45 new restaurants. The first standalone restaurants are expected to open in 2015 in Orange and Los Angeles counties. Some non-traditional Dunkin’ Donuts locations may open over the next several months.


Dunkin’ Donuts Makes Its Debut in Las Cruces, NM

The long-awaited opening of New Mexico’s first Dunkin’ Donuts in Las Cruces took place on July 16, 2013.          

Sizzling Platter, LLC, a Utah-based restaurant management company, opened this location and has additional Dunkin’ Donuts sites planned for Las Cruces.

Sizzling Platter broke ground last December on the new restaurant, which includes a drive thru.

Dunkin’ Donuts Celebrates 500th NYC Store Milestone

Dunkin' Donuts, a leader in the fast-casual industry, has reached its largest milestone to date—500 stores. The brand will be celebrating its 500th store opening Tuesday, July 9, at the new New York City store. The all-morning celebration includes special offers, promotions, and photo and autograph opportunities with NY Giants legend Carl Banks and NY Jets legend Greg Buttle.


Dunkin' Donuts Handpicks Epsilon for Technology Platform

Epsilon, an Alliance Data company, has signed an agreement with Dunkin’ Donuts, America's all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods. Epsilon will provide the technology needed to fuel the new DD Perks Program, Dunkin’ Donuts’ loyalty initiative which the company plans to roll out later this year.


Dunkin' Donuts Heads West to Utah

Utah can finally breathe a sigh of relief! The long awaited opening of the first Dunkin’ Donuts at 217 East 400 Street in Salt Lake City is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 4:30 a.m. But, for guests who can’t wait and want a sneak preview of the new store there will be a VIP Party on Monday, June 24, with free samplings of Munchkins and iced or hot coffee for guests who stop in between 6 a.m.-9 a.m. The new Dunkin’ Donuts is conveniently located across the street from The City Library.


All the World’s Your Stage

In February, Taco Bell made the long-awaited announcement that it would soon launch the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco, a follow-up to 2012’s fanfare-inducing and record-shattering Doritos Locos Taco.

But it didn’t break the news through a press release or company statement. Instead, its nearly 10 million Facebook fans and close to 400,000 Twitter followers were privy to the information before any media outlet or competitor got their hands on it.

Dunkin' Donuts is Going Green

Dunkin’ Donuts is throwing out its foam coffee cups. Dunkin’ Brands Group, parent company of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robins, announced in its corporate social responsibility (CSR) report that it will phase out foam cups in the next two to three years and start testing a more eco-friendly paper cup with recycled content. During the transition, it will recycle the foam cups at restaurants it owns.
