Dunkin’ Donuts announced the signing of a multi-unit store development agreement with new franchise group, JP Foods LLC, to develop a dozen new restaurants throughout Memphis, Tennessee. The first restaurant is expected to open in 2015 and the remainder by 2020.
This team, led by partners Peter Garner and Jonathan Vacca, will manage and oversee the company’s daily operations for each restaurant. This group has strong ties in the Memphis community and years of experience in the quick-serve industry operating successful concepts.
With the holiday season approaching, Dunkin’ Donuts is kicking off the most wonderful time of the year with new and favorite holiday beverages, snacks, and gifts. Dunkin’ Donuts’ seasonal selection includes three flavored lattes, including a new Red Velvet Latte; a full lineup of hot chocolate varieties, including new Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate; and holiday-themed donuts, including Red Velvet Drizzle Donut and Holiday Star Donut. Beginning Tuesday, November 19, hungry Sugar House residents can feed their need with their own neighborhood Dunkin’ Donuts at 1490 E. 2100 S. The grand opening for the Sugar House store is scheduled for this Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 5:00 a.m. The new restaurant includes a convenient drive-thru and is located across from Sugar House Park at the corner of 1500 East and 2100 South.
Dunkin’ Donuts announced the signing of a multi-unit store development agreement with three existing franchise groups to develop twelve new restaurants in Detroit over the next several years.
The three franchise groups and their development plans include existing franchise group Coffee Ventures LLC, which plans to develop seven restaurants in suburban Detroit. Led by brothers Duane and Chris Barbat and their partner Rick Reuter, the group’s first restaurant will open in 2014, and the remainder by 2017. This team currently owns and operates eight locations in the area.
Dunkin’ Donuts announced it will open a new restaurant in Barstow, California, at the historic Barstow Station on November 4, 2013. This is the second Dunkin’ Donuts non-traditional location to open in the state of California. To celebrate the opening, the restaurant will give a free travel mug to the first 200 guests on opening day.
Beginning Tuesday, November 5, donut aficionados in South Jordan, Utah, can enjoy Dunkin’ Donuts, with the opening of a new location at 11429 South District Main Drive. The restaurant includes a drive thru and is located in the District, just west of Harmons.
Sizzling Platter LLC, a Utah-based restaurant management company, will open this location, with additional Dunkin’ Donuts sites planned for the Wasatch Front in Utah. Currently, there are five other Dunkin’ Donut stores along the Wasatch Front: one each in Ogden, Bountiful, West Valley City, Taylorsville, and Salt Lake City.

HT2 Franchising LLC is led by entrepreneur and Reno native Nicole Hansen. Alongside her team, she will manage and oversee the company’s daily operations for each restaurant. Hansen previously owned six privately branded coffee shops in Washington state and has strong ties with several businesses within the local community.
