Edible Arrangements CEO Launches Tech Company

Tariq Farid, founder and CEO of Edible Arrangements, announced that he is launching a new technology company, Naranga, offering software solutions designed to help franchise companies and small businesses take advantage of emerging technologies to integrate their sales, operations, and marketing activities.

Earlier this year, Farid acquired franchise solutions provider eMaximation, rebranded the company under the name Naranga, and immediately began improving existing systems as well as expanding the suite of products and services.

Edible Arrangements Crafts Bouquet for 'Taste of Home'

Edible Arrangements announced it has created a fruit arrangement exclusively for Taste of Home, the world’s largest food and entertaining magazine.

Edible Arrangements to Adopt New Employee Education

Edible Arrangements announced Thursday that it has partnered with the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe training program. Beginning in October 2015, the ServSafe curriculum for food handler training and certification will be used for thousands of Edible Arrangements franchisees and store employees at approximately 1,100 Edible Arrangements locations across the United States.

Edible Arrangements Selects DTT as Security Provider

DTT announced a partnership with multi-unit Edible Arrangements franchisee, Dennis A. Jolicoeur, with Lauden Corporation. DTT is a leader in digital surveillance solutions and managed loss preventions services for hospitality and retail and will be implementing technology in all Lauden store locations this month.

 

Edible Arrangements Debuts Apple Fruit Truffles

Edible Arrangements, the fresh fruit arrangements purveyor, announced the addition of a new line of signature chocolate dipped Apple Fruit Truffles.

Made with Granny Smith apples and chocolate, the new Fruit Truffles are available in three varieties: Classic Apple Fruit Truffles, Swizzle Apple Fruit Truffles, and Premier Apple Fruit Truffles.

Edible Arrangements Adds New Faces to Its E-Commerce Team

Edible Arrangements announced three new additions to its e-commerce team to support the company’s online and social media expansion efforts. 

With rapidly increasing sales, and more than 50 percent of orders placed through the Edible Arrangementswebsite, the company has tripled the size of its e-commerce team since 2010. 

In addition, the company has launched an aggressive social media strategy, such as a recent, highly popular Facebook promotion to help launch the new Edible Arrangements Make Today a Little Sweeter collection.
