It seems one quick-serve company may have found a way to beat the age-old challenge of being in more than one place at a time.

With the launch of two custom smartphone apps, owners and corporate officials at Edible Arrangements will be able to keep virtual watch over multiple stores at any given time.

Edible Arrangements Joins Forces with Catterton Partners

Edible Arrangements today announced a strategic partnership with Catterton Partners, the leading consumer-focused private equity firm, designed to help propel the pioneer in hand-sculpted, fresh-fruit arrangements through its next phase of growth. 

The partnership includes a capital investment by Catterton Partners that will be used to support the expansion of the Edible Arrangements brand globally. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Edible Arrangements Launches Mobile Website June 14

Edible Arrangements is making it easier for customers to locate stores and to place and track orders from their smartphones with the upcoming release of a new, customized mobile website.

“Now it’s easier than ever for our customers to find the nearest Edible Arrangements location or place orders while on the go,” says Kaitlin Reiss, Edible Arrangements vice president of e-commerce.

Edible Arrangements Surpasses 1,000 Units, More on the Way

Edible Arrangements franchises have been popping up across North America at an average of one a week since the first of the year, with more than 20 new locations opening for business through the end of April.

The growth pace, which will significantly increase through spring and summer, has allowed the fresh-fruit franchise to surpass the 1,000 mark for locations now open with another 100 under development and scheduled to open by the end of the year.

Edible Arrangements Sales Up 11% in First Quarter

Edible Arrangements, the pioneer and leader in hand-sculpted, fresh-fruit arrangements, announced today that same-store sales for the first quarter are up 11 percent over the same quarter last year. 

The chain has now experienced positive comp sales for more than 11 consecutive years.

In addition to its double digit comp sales increases, Edible Arrangements opened 16 stores in the U.S. and two stores internationally.

Edible Arrangements Opens Doors to First China Unit

Edible Arrangements, the pioneer and leader in hand-sculpted, fresh-fruit arrangements, has expanded its international presence to China with the opening of its first store in Beijing located at the new Galleria Shopping Center, ShuguangXili Jia5#, Chaoyang District. To celebrate this momentous occasion and unveil the brand in China, Master Franchisees Jianyi “Jack” Wang and Zhigang Liu hosted a grand opening ceremony on December 8with more than 250 people on hand.

Edible Arrangements Opens Shop in India

Edible Arrangements announced that it has opened its first store in Mumbai, India. Last year, Hiten Bajaj, Avinash Khemani, and Ishna Batra signed a Master Franchisee agreement for the development of 20 units throughout the Republic of India. With this opening, Edible Arrangements is now available to consumers in 14 countries outside the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

To Prepare for Growth, Edible Arrangements Promotes Four

Edible Arrangements is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its first franchise location, which opened in Waltham, Massachusetts, in August 2001. Positioning itself for growth for the next 10 years and beyond, the company announced the promotion of several key leaders to its executive management team. Kristy Ferguson was named chief strategy officer, Steve Thomas was promoted to chief marketing officer, Matt Bailey was appointed to vice president of operations, and Kaitlin Power was promoted to vice president of ecommerce.
