Fazoli's Adds New Pink Drink for Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Fazoli's has come up with a way to help bring attention to the cause. Fazoli's has partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to raise awareness and funds by creating a limited time only Pink Italian Lemon Ice. This lemon ice will be featured at participating Fazoli's restaurants throughout October. The limited time drink is just $1.99, with $1 of the purchase price going to support NBCF's mission to save lives through early detection.

Fazoli's Unveils Franchise Sales Incentive Program

Coming off its record-setting 26 consecutive months of same-store sales growth, Fazoli’s, America’s largest premium Italian quick-service restaurant chain, is launching a new franchise incentive program that can save operators at least $30,000 on a single new unit.

Franchisees opening multiple units under a development agreement can save up to $50,000 per unit. The program combines reduced franchise fees and royalty discounts for new and converted traditional, freestanding, and inline units.

Fazoli's Brings Back Pizza Baked Pastas as Fall LTO

Fazoli’s, America’s largest premium Italian quick-service restaurant chain, announced that its August sales broke yet another record.

Company unit sales were up 3.4 percent over last year, making it the 25th consecutive month of comp-store sales increases.

Franchise restaurants reported positive August sales of 4.2 percent, making it the 26th month in a row for comp-store sales growth. A new record for continuous franchise same-store sales was set in July.

Fazoli's Breadstick Tour Garners $35,000 in Donations

Fazoli's Breadstick Tour across the country has come to an end. The Breadstick Express truck made its final stop back where it started, in Lexington, Kentucky. 

Instead of handing out breadsticks, the truck was joined by two semi-tractor trailers to distribute meals and other essentials to 800 families. 

Fazoli's Sets Same-Store Sales Record

Sales at Fazoli’s, America’s largest premium Italian quick-service restaurant chain, are taking a cue from this summer’s record-breaking weather.

Franchised restaurants reported positive July sales over last year, making it the 25th consecutive period of same-store sales increases—a new Fazoli’s franchise record. Company units reported their 24th consecutive month of comp-store sales growth, tying the previous record set back in 1998.

Fazoli's Voted Best HR Department

Fazoli's, America's largest quick-service Italian restaurant, took home the 2012 Gold Stevie Award for Best Human Resources Department during the 10th annual American Business Awards on June 18.

Fazoli's beat out nine other finalists for the honor during a ceremony hosted by Fox Business Network anchor Cheryl Casone and broadcast live on the Business TalkRadio Network from the Marriott Marquis in New York City's Times Square.

Fazoli's Kicks Off Summer Breadstick Tour

With engines revved and breadsticks prepped, Fazoli’s is hitting the road this summer to feed hungry fans everywhere—and to raise money for children while it’s at it.

The eight-week Summer Breadstick Tour launches June 21 in the Italian quick serve’s hometown of Lexington, Kentucky. The brand will travel the country spreading the word about Fazoli’s new hospitality and service program. It’s using breadsticks—and a bright, eye-catching food truck—to really drive the point home.

Fazoli’s Names Sherwood as VP of Franchise Development

Fazoli’s has tapped Craig Sherwood to lead its nationwide franchising effort. Sherwood, who previously directed YUM! Brands’ non-traditional franchise activities, most recently was responsible for franchise development at Corner Bakery Cafe.

“Craig brings to Fazoli’s a wealth of experience and proven track record with a wide variety of well-known QSR and fast-casual brands,” says Carl Howard, president and CEO. “We are excited to add Craig to an already extremely talented management team.”

Fazoli’s Continues Sales Streak in April

April was another month of double-digit same-store sales increases at Fazoli’s, thanks to new marketing and hospitality programs launched in early April combined with a recently revamped menu, expanded service, and a new unit design.

The new marketing program spotlights recent changes that include the new look, new menu, table service, and real silverware and plates. In conjunction with the campaign, Fazoli’s rolled out a new service and hospitality program. Both were launched in company markets.

Fazoli’s Adds Italian Lemon Ice Flavors to Permanent Menu

Just in time for warm weather, Fazoli’s, the Italian quick-service restaurant chain, has introduced two Italian Lemon Ice flavors to its permanent menu.

The refreshing flavors, Wildberry Lemon Ice and Peach Lemon Ice, are now available at all company restaurants, with plans to roll them out at franchised units in the future. These beverages, made with real fruit puree, complement Fazoli’s existing flavors of original Italian Lemon Ice and Strawberry Lemon Ice, which also is made with real fruit.
