For its first promotion of the year, Gold Star Chili is reintroducing some hearty, Cincinnati-style comfort food, Chili Mac & Cheese, just in time for the cold winter months.
Gold Star Chili, the flavor of Cincinnati, introduced a new menu item for Cincinnati chili lovers on the go: the munchable, crunchable GOrito. It’s a more portable way to enjoy Gold Star Chili.
The GOrito is a 12-inch tortilla filled with Gold Star chili, mild shredded Cheddar cheese, chipotle ranch sauce, and, for crunch and unique flavor twist, Fritos corn chips. The ingredients are folded into the tortilla and wrapped tight to make it easy to eat in the car, on a stroll, or in the restaurant.
With the Lenten season upon us, Gold Star Chili, the Flavor of Cincinnati, wants to remind chili lovers that there are two ways to enjoy a Cincinnati-style 3-Way; the regular way (spaghetti topped with chili and shredded cheddar cheese) and the veggie way.

Gold Star Chili is kicking off 2014 with a special promotion to introduce its newest menu offering, Gold Star Chili Doritos Nachos. The promotion is a partnership with Pepsi/Frito-Lays’ Doritos brand. If the new Nachos offering does well in its initial promotional period, January 13 through February 23, Gold Star plans to add it permanently to the regular menu.
For the second year in a row, Gold Star Chili, The Flavor of Cincinnati and Official Chili of the Cincinnati Bengals, announced a promotion and partnership with the Andy & Jordan Dalton Foundation to support children’s causes in the Greater Cincinnati area. From October 14 through November 25, a portion of the proceeds from the purchase of Gold Star Chili Cincinnati-style 3, 4, and 5-ways will be donated to the foundation. Gold Star’s goal is to donate $20,000 to the foundation, doubling its 2012 contribution.
