Sean Falk joined the United States Marine Corps in 1989. After time as an infantry officer, on recruiting duty, and in the Reserves—time that took him to Desert Storm and Bosnia, among other operations—Falk moved to serving in a different fashion when he opened his first Mrs. Fields Cookies unit in Monroe, Michigan, in 1998. Since then, he’s become an operator with 12 brands, including Great American Cookies, Pretzelmaker, and Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina, in the states of Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

On Sunday, November 11, patrons—either in uniform or carrying their military ID or proof of service—who stop by a Great American Cookies location will receive a free regular cookie of their choice.

Great American Cookies Celebrates Nat'l Cookie Month

Great American Cookies kicked off National Cookie Month by once again giving away free chocolate chip cookies to customers all day long.

The cookie giveaway also helped kick off the company’s month-long literacy campaign—Reading is Sweet—which is taking place at Great American Cookies locations nationwide.

As a “thank you” to its fans, Great American Cookies will be giving away slices of a giant Cookie Cake, a product the brand invented in 1977. The company now sells more than a million Cookie Cakes a year. These celebratory events will be taking place all over the country throughout the summer.

Great American Cookies Hosts Father’s Day Contest

To celebrate Father's Day, Great American Cookies will be hosting a national contest celebrating the Great American Dad. Beginning May 14 through May 28, Great American Cookies fans will have the opportunity to submit a story in 200 words or less detailing why they have the greatest dad in America.

Lewis Loeb Joins Global Franchise Group as CFO

Great American Cookies Wants to Hear Your 'Love Story'

Great American Cookies announced that the brand launched its first-ever search for the "Great American Love Story." To enter the contest, participants are asked to share, in 200 words or less, their special love story.
