The new kids’ meals were designed in partnership with the Jamba Healthy Living Council, and were informed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's MyPlate dietary guidelines. They also have the highest whole-fruit servings of any leading quick-service restaurant kids’ meal.
Each meal contains two and one-half servings of fruits and/or vegetables, a serving of whole grains, and provides an excellent source of protein.

In January 2012, at a White House Summer Jobs+ event, Jamba committed to hiring 2,500 young people in support of the Obama Administration’s call for more private sector participation in summer youth employment.
In response to this call, Jamba Juice hosted a National Hiring Day in more than 70 stores across the country, resulting in the hiring of nearly 6,000 team members for the May–September summer season.
This employment number represents an increase of more than double that of the 2,500 jobs pledged by the company in January 2012.
