La Madeleine Fights to End Childhood Hunger

La Madeleine Country French Café is teaming up with restaurants across the nation for Share Our Strength’s annual No Kid Hungry campaign to help end childhood hunger in America. La Madeleine is asking guests to help raise $200,000 this year, which is double the amount raised last year. Meeting this new fundraising goal will help provide children in need with up to two million meals.

 

La Madeleine Introduces New French-Inspired Collection

La Madeleine Country French Café announced the expansion of its sandwich menu and debut of four new gourmet, oven-baked sandwiches. This marks the first introduction of new sandwiches for the brand since 2008. The sandwiches feature French-inspired ingredients such as roasted vegetables, premium roast beef, gourmet spreads, and specialty cheeses, including Brie, Gruyére, and goat cheese.

 

La Madeleine Celebrates Bastille Day with Free Desserts

In observance of Bastille Day this Sunday, July 14, la Madeleine Country French Café is inviting guests to celebrate the French holiday by indulging in a complimentary mini dessert from its authentic patisserie and viennoiserie.

 

Guests must simply say, “Happy Bastille Day” to any la Madeleine associate at the register this Sunday to receive their choice of a mini tart, parfait, or pastry, no purchase necessary.

 

La Madeleine Debuts New Summer Selections

As the warm summer months quickly approach, la Madeleine Country French Café invites guests to unwind and cool down with its new French-inspired menu offerings and refreshing pomegranate berry iced tea.

Chopped Salmon Niçoise Salade – Inspired by the flavors of southern France, this chopped salade features greens topped with flaky salmon, diced egg, feta, potato, green beans, tomato, and kalamata olives tossed in la Madeleine’s signature Caesar dressing. Served with a sea salt breadstick. $10.49

For Le Duff, Growth is All the Rage

Only a little more than a month into 2013, Le Duff America—the world’s second-largest restaurant company in the bakery café segment, with brands like Bruegger’s Bagels and la Madeleine Country French Café in its portfolio—can already tell it’s going to be a big year.

For starters, it recently purchased casual-dining chain Mimi’s Cafe from Bob Evans for $50 million. It also plans to begin franchising the growing la Madeleine brand, and is expanding Bruegger’s presence with both traditional and nontraditional unit openings.
