Maui Wowi Brings Back Pacific Passion Coffee for Spring

To help customers cope with the extreme weather conditions hitting communities across the U.S., Maui Wowi Hawaiian is bringing back its warm Pacific Passion coffee blend.

Beginning Monday, March 3, through June 4, customers can enjoy this unique coffee blend that combines Hawaiian and Papua New Guinea beans to produce a fruity aroma and naturally sweet taste finished off with a clean, full-bodied flavor.

Franchisees entering the quick-service space might not need to quit their day job, after all.

A high school teacher for going on 11 years, Chad Knee recently ventured into the quick-serve industry with fruit smoothie and coffee retailer Maui Wowi Hawaiian, opening his first unit in June. Now, with two units and ongoing growth as a business owner and manager, Knee—or Mr. Knee, as he is more commonly called—continues to teach U.S. history, personal financing, and government at a local high school every day.

Maui Wowi Adds Additional Roles to Franchise Support

Maui Wowi Hawaiian announced the expansion of its support team with three new operational employee promotions.

Eric Richardson was promoted from senior project manager of construction to director of construction services. "We added eight new domestic store locations in 2013, and we could not be happier with them. I am excited for 2014 and the growth of the Maui Wowi Hawaiian brand with over 15 stores anticipated to be built this year worldwide," Richardson says.

Maui Wowi Names VP of Business Development

Maui Wowi announced the appointment of Justin Livingston to vice president of business development, a newly created position at the company.

Livingston has been with Maui Wowi for eight years and most recently served as the brand’s director of global franchise development. He now oversees an entire team that is focused on upholding and expanding a strong worldwide brand reputation.

Maui Wowi Franchise Advisory Council Meets in Denver

Maui Wowi Hawaiian, a dual franchise concept specializing in gourmet island-grown coffee and fruit smoothies, jump-started the New Year with a three-day gathering of the company’s Franchise Advisory Council. The meeting was aimed at blending ideas, best practices, and strategic goals into achievable initiatives for 2014.

Maui Wowi Expands Locations in Southern California

Maui Wowi Hawaiian, an international franchise specializing in coffee beverages and fruit smoothies, is continuing its growth and expansion in Southern California. A franchisee of the island-themed company signed a lease to bring a new piece of paradise to Oceanside, just north of San Diego.

Maui Wowi Hawaiian Opens Newest East Coast Location

Maui Wowi Hawaiian, the Hawaiian coffee and smoothie company, opened its newest East Coast location in Towson, located in Baltimore County, Maryland. Franchisees Mike and Amanda Pyne have been successful Maui Wowi mobile cart operators since 2011 and look forward to expanding their empire with a fixed store location.
