Max & Erma’s to Raise $40K for Local Food Banks

To help commemorate its 40th anniversary, Max & Erma’s restaurants this week are kicking off a summer fundraising drive to benefit local food banks in their neighborhoods.

The Max & Erma’s 40th Anniversary “Food for Families” campaign includes a series of special FUNdraising events, as well as an opportunity for guests to make $1 donations in exchange for a future food discount. The goal is to raise at least $40,000 for food banks serving communities where Max & Erma’s operates.

Donatos Appoints Vice President of Marketing

Tom Krouse, president and CEO of Donatos Pizza, has announced the appointment of Bonnie Brannigan as vice president of marketing for the Columbus, Ohio-based pizza chain. 

“Bonnie brings valuable skill sets to Donatos in the areas of strategic brand development and brand communication strategy,” Krouse says. “Bonnie’s extensive experience in the restaurant and franchising industries will be an important addition to our management team.”

American Blue Ribbon Creates CMO Position

American Blue Ribbon Holdings (ABRH) President and CEO Hazem Ouf announced the appointment of industry veteran Jennifer Sanning as chief marketing officer for the company’s restaurant brands: Village Inn, Bakers Square, and Max & Erma’s. In addition to leading the marketing functions for the brands, Sanning has responsibility for menu development and culinary direction.
