Little ghosts, goblins, princesses, and superheroes can add McAlister’s Deli to their list of Halloween hot spots this year as Cincinnati-area McAlister’s Deli restaurants will provide a free kid’s meal for costumed children on Halloween. The free kid’s meals will be available at all five Cincinnati-area McAlister’s locations.

McAlister’s Deli, a fast-casual chain known for its sandwiches, spuds, and soups, announced the addition of two new seasonal menu items available through December 30. The Turkey Cranberry Griller sandwich is made with Butterball smoked turkey, Gorgonzola, cranberry compote, and sliced Granny Smith apples served on Ciabatta. A Turkey Cranberry Salad with Butterball smoked turkey, dried cranberries, candied pecans, Gorgonzola and sliced Granny Smith apples and grapes served with cranberry-pecan vinaigrette dressing will also be added to the menu.
McAlister's Deli announced a same-store sales increase of 4.9 percent during the third quarter of 2013. In addition, year-to-date same-store sales are at 5.4 percent. This marks the 13th straight quarter of positive sales growth. Comp sales were driven primarily by an increase in entrée sales, due to system-wide traffic gains.
McAlister’s Deli announced its first location in Abilene, Texas, will open on Monday, September 30, at 3318 South Clack St.
