McAlister's Deli Sends Lucky Fan to the Big Easy

McAlister’s Deli announced the grand-prize winner of its Big Easy Experience promotion.

Melanie Hoffman of Grapevine, Texas, won an all-inclusive trip to New Orleans and dinner with McAlister’s executive chef David Groll. 

“The Big Easy Experience was a great way to promote our new Cajun Shrimp menu and give one lucky fan the chance to enjoy some Cajun-style fun in New Orleans,” says McAlister’s president and CEO Frank Paci.

McAlister's Franchisee Plans for Growth in Ohio, Kentucky

The Bistro Group, a Cincinnati-based franchise of McAlister’s Deli announced its plan to expand in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.  

The Bistro Group owns and operates five McAlister’s Deli locations in Ohio and Kentucky. After more than seven successful years with these five locations, the Bistro Group and McAlister’s Deli are looking to expand into new marketplaces within the region.  

The Bistro Group executive team is scouting new locations in surrounding Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky neighborhoods.

McAlister’s Deli, a leading fast-casual restaurant, announced it has been ranked among the top performing fast-casual chains in a new consumer survey presented by Technomic at its Fast Casual 2012 Trends & Directions Conference.

McAlister’s Deli took the top spot in five categories, including food, beverages, value, service, and atmosphere.

Menu Developments, Speed of Service Boost McAlister's Sales

Thanks to two years of hard work, menu upgrades, and improved speed of service, fast casual McAlister’s Deli is truly reaping rewards. The recently released third-quarter results showed that the more than 300-unit brand reached its ninth consecutive quarter of positive comparable sales growth.

And it all started when president and CEO Frank Paci came on board in 2010. Though Paci says a more stable economy has helped the brand improve sales and growth, he acknowledges that it was the chain’s focus on menu changes and service upgrades that truly made the difference.
