Menchie’s introduced January’s new flavor, Sweet ‘n’ Tangy Peach Mango, for a healthier, better-for-you dessert option for the New Year.
Running a quick-service restaurant often requires relying on seasonal employees who come from high school or college, or stay-at-home parents who work when school is in session. Many of these employees tend not to stick around for longer than a season, which means operators must constantly invest time and money in training a new crop of workers.
Reducing this sort of seasonal turnover is a struggle, but engaging temporary employees and offering the right kind of workplace incentives can keep them coming back year after year, human resources experts say.
Menchie’s will sell its one-millionth cup of frozen yogurt at one of its six Louisiana locations. The lucky guest will receive free frozen yogurt for one year, a $400 value.
Menchie’s announced the newest addition to its Upstate New York operations: a mobile self-serve fro-yo food truck. The truck launched on July 4 and will be used for a variety of events including sporting events, office parties, birthday and graduation celebrations, county fairs, and private events.
Upstate New York’s mobile fro-yo truck will be Menchie’s second mobile truck, with Houston being the franchise concept’s first foray into mobile desserts. The Upstate New York truck will boast eight flavors with more than 40 toppings.
