To continue their commitment to Spreading MODness, all MOD stores will donate $1.00 from every pizza sold during the week of November 25-30, 2014 to local charities. For the second year, food banks, meal programs, shelters, and youth programs will benefit from Spreading MODness. Each charity was chosen by the local MOD Squads, which are committed to building bridges and making a difference in the communities they serve.
MOD Pizza will bring its artisan-style pizza to Portland International Airport (PDX) in 2015. As part of the Port of Portland’s expansion of airport concessions, MOD will open in the C Concourse with a temporary kiosk on January 1, 2015, with their permanent store opening in April 2015.
MOD Pizza will bring its individual artisan-style pizza to Denver, with the opening of their first store in September 2014. The 2,400 square-foot store will be located near the Park Meadows Mall and will feature an outdoor patio, an 800-degree oven, and MOD’s signature, locally inspired interior. This will be the first of several MOD stores slated for the Denver market.
MOD Pizza will celebrate the grand opening of its first San Jose, California, store in Village Oaks Shopping Center on Thursday, July 31, at 5 p.m. The first 52 customers will each enjoy a free individual, artisan-style pizza or hand-tossed salad and the chance to win free pizza for a year.
MOD Pizza announced its first store in the Silicon Valley area, located in the newly developed Village Oaks Shopping Center in San Jose, California. It will open in late July with two additional locations opening in late fall. Each location will feature an outdoor patio, an 800-degree gas fired oven, and MOD’s locally inspired interiors.
MOD Pizza announced that it has successfully raised over $15 million from private investors to support an accelerated expansion of the brand. In addition, the company announced that it will be opening stores in three new markets this summer—the San Francisco Bay Area, Phoenix, and Houston—along with adding new locations in Seattle and Los Angeles. MOD plans to open seven new stores by the end of August, bringing the total number of MOD locations to 23.
MOD Pizza announced that it will open its 15th store at the Tanasbourne Shoppes just outside of Portland. The Grand Opening event is Thursday, March 6 at 5:00 p.m.
MOD Pizza announced that the brand has added three experienced executives to its leadership team who will support operations and store development as the company accelerates its growth into new markets. MOD Pizza continues its California expansion with the opening of an Irvine store located in Westpark Plaza at 3965 Alton Parkway.
MOD Pizza announced the brand donated $20,074.36 to local food banks, meal programs, and shelters in Washington, Oregon, and California. The “Spreading MODness” campaign coincided with MOD’s 5th birthday and ran from November 26 through December 1, 2013. During this time, MOD donated $1 from every pizza sold at each of their 14 locations. In addition, many customers chose to make individual donations to help support local charities.
