Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. Aims for Mid-Atlantic Region

CBRE Group, Inc. has arranged a 2,865-square-foot lease for The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. of Pikesville. This will be the first location of the Boca Raton, Florida.-based restaurant chain in the Mid-Atlantic Region. 

The restaurant will be located in Hooks Village, 25 Hooks Lane in Pikesville, Maryland, and will open late in the first quarter of 2012.

Brooklyn Water Taps Former Manhattan Bagel Exec as COO

Brooklyn Water Enterprises Goes to College at FSU

The deal is part of a company-wide initiative to open eateries on campuses across the country.

Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Goes Kosher in Beverly Hills

The restaurant closed over the weekend to make the conversion, and will reopen September 28—just in time for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

Snapple Co-Founder Joins Brooklyn Water Bagels

The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co., the pioneering bakery/cafe restaurant that creates Brooklynized water for use in all of its food, beverage, and bakery products, announced that Leonard Marsh, a co-founder of Snapple Beverage Corp., joined its board of advisors. Marsh, who served as chief executive officer and president of the company when it went public, was instrumental in growing Snapple from its inception into an iconic national brand. He will bring his years of experience in taking a new health-conscious concept and growing it into a major business to the board.

Original Brooklyn Water Launches Finance Company

The Original Brooklyn Water Enterprises, the company that launched The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co., unveiled a new finance company. The Original Brooklyn Water Finance Co. will help fuel the company's growth. It has already made a loan to Michael D'Angelo, the company's first franchisee and former New York City firefighter, to open restaurants in more locations. He opened his first restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
