Pie Five Pizza Co. is preparing to open the first of 10 planned locations in Nashville.
Area residents will welcome the new restaurant, located in Donelson at 2266 Lebanon Pikem, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 11. The opening marks Tennessee’s introduction to the brand. The “Five” in Pie Five means it all happens in five minutes or less.
Last November, Pie Five awarded 10 franchise units to local businessmen Rich Davis and Ron Payne. Since then, the partners have been quickly moving to bring the fast-casual pizza brand to the area.
For the second summer in a row, Pie Five Pizza is introducing a specialty pie that showcases avocado.
Pie Five’s Chicken Bacon-Cado Pie is made with grilled chicken, crispy bacon, olive oil, minced garlic, fresh mozzarella cheese, vine-ripened tomatoes, and avocado slices – all piled high on whole grain crust. The Pizza is available at all 20 Pie Five locations nationwide beginning June 16.
Pie Five Pizza is now offering new iced tea flavors including Classic Black Tea (Sweetened and Unsweetened,) and “Perfectly Peach Ginger Tea,” a blend of white green and oolong teas infused with peach bits and ginger roots.
Pie Five recently entered into a partnership with La Crème Coffee & Tea, a Dallas-based specialty coffee roaster and tea purveyor.

Pie Five’s new Jerk Chicken Pie is crafted with Mozzarella cheese, jerk chicken, red onions, and red and green peppers, all piled on artisan thin crust. The special jerk sauce features a unique flavor profile derived from a robust blend of all spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, tamarind with the sweetness of pineapple, and a touch of soy sauce.
