Apparently the Metroplex can’t get enough of Pie Five Pizza, so the rapidly growing concept will bring its 12th DFW-area restaurant to 2645 East Southlake Blvd in Southlake, near Dragon Stadium, on Monday, September 16, at 11:00 a.m.
Pie Five Pizza Co., a subsidiary of Pizza Inn Holdings, announced that it has awarded 10 franchise units to Lonnie and Connie Young and Curt and Carrie Currell, who will bring the concept to the greater Louisville (including the five Indiana border counties) and Lexington, Kentucky, markets.
The restaurateurs previously owned and operated a dozen McAlister’s Deli locations in Kentucky, Indiana, and North Carolina.
Pie Five Pizza is bringing back its popular Hatch Chile Pie. The Southwestern seasonal favorite will only be available through September 29.
The Hatch Chile Pie features chicken, Hatch chiles, red onions, Mozzarella and Cheddar cheeses, and a spicy red pepper sauce.
