The quick-serve industry is no exception. For decades, companies have operated under a series of assumptions that guide their business decisions and compose their operations manuals. And many of these brands would suggest they’ve been all the wiser—and richer—by playing by the rules.

Saladworks Stays on the Growth Path in 2013

Saladworks announced major growth accomplishments in 2012, setting up 2013 to be the “Year of the Salad.”

Saladworks locked in 2012 with a 15 percent total revenue growth over 2011. Fourth quarter results showed a 15 percent comparable store increase, as well as a year-over-year increase of 7 percent.

With the addition of more than 50 new franchise agreements in 2012, the pipeline of committed franchise stores now contains more than 150 units that are slated to open over the next several years.

Saladworks Sets Up Shop in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Saladworks, the nation’s first and largest fresh-tossed salad franchise concept, is opening its first location in the Pocono Mountains. Saladworks is located in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania at the Shoppes at Stroud outdoor shopping center on Route 611, immediately west of the Stroud Mall and only three miles from East Stroudsburg University.

Saladworks Introduces Chicken Manchego Salad

Saladworks is pleased to announce its new spring seasonal salad, the Chicken Manchego Salad, which will be available in all Saladworks locations from April 3 -June 15 .

The Chicken Manchego Salad is a mix of crisp romaine and iceberg lettuce, wheat pasta, craisins, and chicken, and also featured new products, including Manchego cheese, Jicama, and almonds. The salad is then topped with Saladworks' new strawberry capri dressing. For the promotional period, the salad will run for the special price of $6.99.

Saladworks Opens Store No. 4 in California

Saladworks, the nation’s first and largest fresh-tossed salad franchise concept, is opening its fourth California location in The Plaza LaFayette Shopping Center, 13041 Newport Ave. in Tustin, California.

This is the fourth of 15 locations planned for California. Sacramento Airport was Saladworks’ first endeavor, followed by the Costa Mesa Saladworks that opened in early 2011. The Village at Orange Saladworks followed these two, opening just a few months ago. 

Saladworks to Open 6th Delaware Unit

Saladworks, the nation’s first and largest fresh-tossed salad franchise concept, is opening its sixth Delaware location in the Middletown Crossing Shopping Center at 492 East Main Street, Middletown, Delaware.

Saladworks celebrates the opening of its Middletown Delaware location by offering $5 salads to all customers on February 18 and 19.

Saladworks Opens Doors on Location No. 2 in Virginia

Saladworks, the nation’s first and largest fresh-tossed salad franchise concept, is opening its second Virginia location, in Reston in the Plaza America Shopping Center, 11692 Plaza America Drive.

Saladworks is celebrating the grand opening of its Reston, Virginia, location by offering $5 salads for three days, February 11-13.

The Reston Saladworks is owned and operated by Michael Lord, of Sterling, Virginia, who spent 25 years in engineering before deciding it was time to go into business for himself. 

Saladworks Begins Developing in Arizona

Saladworks, the nation’s first and largest fresh salad franchise concept, is proud to announce its first multi-unit development agreement in Arizona. 

New franchisee James Riggs of Scottsdale, Arizona, has been a fanatical fan of Saladworks for 20 years. Previously a resident of New Jersey, he was a frequent customer of the Cherry Hill location.

Though he is currently a real estate developer, when James decided to diversify his business ventures, the idea of bringing Saladworks to Arizona was an exciting prospect for him.
