Schlotzsky’s Raises $150K For Diabetes Research

In 2012, Schlotzsky's, home of The Original round toasted sandwich and Fresh-from-Scratch buns, partnered with JDRF, the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research, and successfully exceeded its $100,000 fundraising goal by raising $150,000 for the organization.

Schlotzsky’s has now announced that for the second year of the partnership, it hopes to raise $200,000 to support JDRF’s efforts to progressively remove the burdens of T1D and ultimately create a world without the disease.

Schlotzsky’s Lassoes the Beef with Fan Favorite

Back by popular demand, the Angus Round Up sandwich trio is heading back to Schlotzsky's. From August 26 through November 24, the home of The Original round toasted sandwich will feature three meaty favorites – the Bacon Beefy SmokeCheesy, French Dipsky, and the Chipotle Guaca-Beefsky.

Now you need look no further than Schlotzsky’s for the ultimate refreshment. Coca-Cola Freestyle, the fountain dispenser will make its debut at Schlotzsky’s. Schlotzsky’s is adding Coca-Cola Freestyle to 26 of its locations in Austin, College Station, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City.

 

San Antonio Gets Lotz Better with New Schlotzsky’s

Schlotzsky’s, home of The Original round-toasted sandwich and Fresh-from-Scratch buns, announced the opening of its newest Lotz Better location at 25235 IH 10 West, Suite 101 in the Leon Springs neighborhood of San Antonio. The new restaurant is expected to bring more than 40 jobs to the local economy.

 

Schlotzsky’s Opens Doors At New California Unit

Schlotzsky’s, home of The Original round-toasted sandwich and Fresh-from-Scratch buns, announced the opening of its newest Lotz Better location in Placerville, California.

The new restaurant is connected to the current AM/PM convenience store and brings more than 40 jobs to the local economy.

Schlotzsky’s kicked off its grand opening on July 18, 2013, with events like a ribbon-cutting with Bobby Bun, games, a prize giveaway for those that sign up for the Schlotzsky’s eClub, and more.

The new restaurant brings more than 40 jobs to the local economy and smiles to diners with its quirky brand personality.

 

Schlotzsky's Heads to Eastern Europe

Schlotzsky’s, home of The Original round toasted sandwich and famous Fresh-from-Scratch buns, recently signed a franchise agreement for 55 restaurants throughout seven of the former Soviet countries, including Russia, Belarus, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine.

 

The master franchise agreement was awarded to Moscow-based entrepreneur Mehmet Akpinar, who plans to open the first restaurant in Moscow. The remaining locations are expected to open over the next 10 years.

Get Your Kicks with Schlotzsky’s Route 66 Promo

Route 66, also known as the Main Street of America, is the inspiration behind Schlotzsky’s latest menu additions. Running from Chicago to California, the historic stretch of highway winds its way through numerous states, incorporating a variety of different cultures, tastes, and flavors. From now until August 25, the home of The Original round-toasted sandwich will feature these flavors in three signature sandwiches.
