As the grand finale of its year-long 50th anniversary celebration, Taco Time NW is thanking fans with more than $13,000 in cash and prizes in its search for the Taco Time Ultimate Fan.
Participants are invited to compete in challenges and collect points toward rewards ranging from Cactus Cards to a grand prize of $10,000 and the title of Ultimate Fan.
Participants have until December 16 to work through five levels of challenges, each more difficult and worth more points than the previous stage.
As part of its continuing mission to provide the highest quality, locally-sourced ingredients, Taco Time NW is now exclusively sourcing all pinto beans from the family-owned Central Bean Co. in Quincy, Washington.

Taco Time NW is celebrating its 50th anniversary by rolling out a new ride this summer: the Taco Time Traveler. The traveling taco trunk, which stopped by the Seafair Milk Carton Derby at Greenlake in Washington on July 14 for its first event, will serve complimentary samples at community events and block parties, bringing Taco Time NW's fresh, hand-made items into the communities that have supported the Renton, Washington-based company since 1962.

Grown and harvested daily, the crisp romaine lettuce used to prepare the Chicken Caesar Salad and Chicken Caesar Salad Soft Taco comes from local farms in Washington state’s Kent Valley including the fourth generation, family-owned Carpinito Brothers farm.
This month, Taco Time Northwest officially opened its first schoolyard garden to get involved with the community. Taco Time NW partnered with Newport Heights Elementary (NHE) in Bellevue, Washington, to offer students hands-on, experiential learning opportunities in a number of disciplines including the natural and social sciences, math, writing, and nutrition.
