Tim Hortons Taps New VP of U.S. Operations

Tim Hortons U.S.A. recently named Larry Mench to the position of vice president of U.S. operations.

Mench brings more than 30 years of restaurant industry experience in the quick-serve and fast-casual categories to the chain's U.S. operations. Mench most recently worked with an organization that operates multiple quick-serve units. During his time with the organization, Mench led a team responsible for implementing new systems and controls across the restaurant concepts.

Tim Hortons Eliminates Pig Cages from Supply Chain

The Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International/Canada praised Oakville, Ontario-based Tim Hortons — which has more than 4,000 restaurant locations across Canada and the U.S. — for its newly-announced policy to eliminate controversial gestation crates from its pork supply chain.

Tim Hortons Brews Up Business in Oman

Tim Hortons announced it has opened its first restaurant in the Sultanate of Oman, making it the second market in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to welcome the brand.

The opening marked the 20th Tim Hortons restaurant in the GCC since the company signed a Master License Agreement (MLA) with the Apparel Group last year.

The MLA with Apparel Group includes up to 120 multiformat restaurants over a five-year period in the GCC within the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman.

In celebration of operating 750 U.S. restaurants, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop is offering guests its medium Always Fresh premium blend coffee for just 75 cents all day on Tuesday, October 30.

Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop is well known and much loved for its premium blend coffee made from 100 percent Arabica beans roasted in Rochester, New York, and always served fresh within 20 minutes of brewing.

The coffee promotion is the bakery-cafe chain's way of honoring its guests' continuous support and the important milestone.

Tim Hortons Kicks Off Football Season with Grill Giveaway

Tim Hortons Cafe & Shop wants to make football fans' tailgates even better this fall by giving away 80 Napoleon Gourmet Grills during its Tims Tailgate sweepstakes on Facebook and at special events beginning August 31.

The sweepstakes is made possible through a partnership with Napoleon and the restaurant chain's affiliation with collegiate and professional athletic programs.

Winners will be awarded one of two Napoleon Gourmet Grills models, including the P450 Prestige Grill (valued at $999) or the Freestyle Portable Grill (valued at $189).

Tim Hortons’ Grilled Paninis Hit Breakfast Daypart

Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop is now offering its popular grilled-to-order panini sandwiches in the morning and with a new twist—grilled on a hearty multigrain or a mouth-watering maple flatbread.

The new Flatbread Breakfast Paninis are prepared and grilled fresh to order in up to 16 different varieties filled with delicious, classic breakfast ingredients such as an egg or an egg-white omelet; bacon, hickory smoked ham; or a lightly-seasoned sausage patty with warm, melted cheese.
