Health continues to be the driving trend for menu development and product innovation in the limited-service restaurant space—and that’s not changing any time soon.

At this year’s National Restaurant Association’s (NRA) Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show, Jane Grote Abell, founder and chairman of Donatos Pizza; Susan Shields, CIO of Jamba Juice; and Greg Dollarhyde, CEO of Veggie Grill, joined moderator Aaron Noveshen, president of The Culinary Edge, in a discussion on winning consumers through menu innovation.

Veggie Grill Goes Mobile with New Rewards Program

Veggie Grill, the West Coast fast-casual concept known for its vegetarian food, launched a loyalty-based mobile app to reward guests for dining with Veggie Grill.  The “Veggie Grill Love” mobile app is available for download with both Android and iPhone operating systems and rewards members on a point system towards earning free food. 

Veggie Grill Rolls Out Winter Menu

Veggie Grill, the West Coast fast-casual vegetarian concept, launched a new winter menu with herb-roasted vegetables and new, lower-priced options. Always focused on a craveable and healthy approach to recipes, Veggie Grill’s new additions feature two new menu items in the popular bowl format: the Harvest and the Bombay. Inspired by the season and with an eye to unique flavors, these are a first for Veggie Grill and use a combination of seasonal vegetables, super grains such as millet and buckwheat, and steamed kale with sauces.

Veggie Grill Plants Roots in Ventura

Veggie Grill, the West Coast fast-casual concept, announced it will open its first restaurant in Ventura County on Wednesday, October 30.

In celebration of Veggie Grill’s arrival to Westlake Village, the restaurant will reward the first 50 guests in line between 10 and 11 a.m. on opening day with a $20 Veggie Grill gift card. Additionally, 10 of those guests chosen at random will win Veggie Grill for a year.

Veggie Grill Plants Roots in San Diego Community

Veggie Grill, the popular West Coast fast-casual restaurant concept that is committed to revolutionizing the way guests eat, think, and talk about vegetarian food, announced that it will open its first restaurant in the San Diego community on Thursday, August 22. Their 20th location will be unwrapped at Westfield UTC in La Jolla where Veggie Grill will serve its craveable, 100-percent plant-based American favorites, providing dishes that are wholesome, convenient, and affordable.

 

Veggie Grill Serving Up New Summer Menu Items

Veggie Grill, the popular West Coast fast-casual restaurant concept known for its plant-based food, announced that beginning this week, all 19 Veggie Grill locations will celebrate the return of summer with seasonal new menu items. In addition to its current guest favorites, the company will feature a refreshing lineup including three taco plates, an entrée salad, and a “grilled cookie” dessert.

 

Veggie Grill to Open 19th Location

Veggie Grill, the popular West Coast fast-casual restaurant concept that is committed to revolutionizing the way guests eat, talk, and think about vegetarian food, announced that its third Irvine location opens its doors to the public Wednesday, June 12. Located at 3972 Barranca Parkway at the Crossroads shopping center in Irvine, Veggie Grill will serve its craveable favorites seven days a week starting at 11 a.m.
