54 “Khantestants” on Genghis Grill’s Healthy Kwest

Genghis Grill, the largest Mongolian stir fry chain in the U.S., has introduced a new healthy-influenced campaign called Health Kwest, a journey into a healthier lifestyle.

“Khantestants” will dedicate themselves for three months by eating Genghis Grill's healthier meal options everyday for free and have a chance to win $10,000.

“Khantestants” will share their stories online by blogging about their day to day progress, while also utilizing Facebook and Twitter to gain social media popularity. The public will be able to partake on the khantestant's journey at www.gghealthkwest.com, where they can vote for their favorite khantestant.

Based on the percentage of weight loss, amount of social activity, and most public votes, the winner will receive $10,000 and a healthier lifestyle.

Genghis Grill has partnered with Medical City Hospital, a nationally accredited hospital based in Dallas, Texas, to bring Genghis Grill fans quarterly heart healthy recipe options. Medical City Hospital has provided each contestant a dietician-recommended diet and exercise plan for the Health Kwest campaign.

Medical City will assist in analyzing monthly test results during the campaign, which will play a part in monitoring the khantestant's progress and help choose a winner.

Genghis Grill is well-known for its fresh, hot, and healthy food and for its fun-service style. It offers a heart healthy dining option along with an array of recipes to choose from KHAN'S KITCHEN food bar where one can “build your own bowl.” Genghis Grill plans to open 41 more restaurants around the country in 2011.
