AFC Promotes Food Safety Studies
Under the direction of Dr. Nigel Harris, dean of the medical school, Morehouse has created a quick-response team comprised of physicians from the Infectious Disease Department to provide food safety advice and guidelines.
"Their partnership helps insure our restaurant guests have a safe dining experience," says Hala Moddelmog, president of AFC-owned Churchs Chicken.
Leon Oldham, Special Assistant to the CEO of AFC Enterprises, went on to note that "AFC is committed to creating employment, supplier, and restaurant franchise opportunities for minorities. We feel it is appropriate for this gift to support the education of future African-American physicians."
