Alliance POS is hosting an event this fall and is inviting Atlanta area chefs, restaurant/bar owners, and general managers to attend and compete in this challenge. There will be two teams of four members preparing a dish from ingredients that will be announced at the onset of the competition. Each team will have 45 minutes to prepare a dish, which will be sampled by those attending the event.

The event will be held October 05, 2008, from 1 – 3pm in downtown Atlanta. Tickets, which include a buffet and open bar, are $50 each and can be purchased at www.alliance-pos.com. Free tickets are available from several area businesses. Tickets are limited and businesses wishing to purchase a block of tickets are advised to do so as soon as they go on sale August 01, 2008.

In addition to the opportunity to compete and mingle with other local chefs, attendees will have the opportunity to meet industry vendors showcasing their products. There is limited space available for select foodservice vendors to display their products and services, and those who wish to participate should contact Alliance POS to reserve space.
