Amid Economic Uncertainty, Dickey's Continues Expanding

While the national economy is in recovery mode, Dickey’s Barbecue is accelerating growth.

With the pedal to the metal, the world’s largest barbecue chain is actively seeking energetic and talented potential employees to take the company to the next level.

“We are in the enviable position of growing our brand when so many talented folks are looking for new challenges,” says Roland Dickey, Jr., president of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “Dickey’s Barbecue is a time-tested brand and now is an ideal time to join our growing team.”

The BBQ franchise was recently featured on “Fox & Friends” weekly segment, “Five Companies Now Hiring”with Cheryl Casone.

Corporate job openings include positions in operations, construction, and marketing.

The company, recently named “Best Franchise Deal” and “Top 5 Growth Chain” by respected industry publications, also has new franchise opportunities available.

It offers low start-up costs, a successful business model, and multiple revenue streams.

A Veteran’s Discount Program is also available.

“We are definitely doing our part to stimulate the economy,” Dickey says. “Last year alone, we added 67 new restaurants, and we are opening 100 by the end of this year. That means jobs for landlords, construction companies, and, of course, the communities we are serving.”

In a report released by the National Restaurant Association, the industry is projecting continued expansion in 2012 despite a sluggish recovery by the nation’s economy.

This same report predicts the restaurant industry will continue to fuel U.S. employment as the nation’s second-largest private sector employer.

Overall, restaurant industry employment will reach 12.9 million in 2012, representing 10 percent of the total U.S. workforce.
