Wendy's/Arby’s Group Inc. has hired Burger King veteran Diana Petrovich-Tao as chief operating officer for its Arby's chain.
“This appointment is a key component of our turnaround plan, as we work to grow sales and profits by enhancing the Arby’s customer experience through exceptional service in our restaurants,” says Arby’s President Hala Moddelmog.
Petrovich-Tao, 51, worked at Burger King from 2003 until this year, most recently as vice president of global training and development. She held several senior leadership positions with Mrs. Fields Brands from 2001 to 2003. Her career also includes service with Taco Bell Corp., Packaging Corp. of America, Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. and Castle & Cooke Foods.
