Auntie Anne’s, the world’s largest international franchisor of hand-rolled soft pretzels, is now open for business at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

This store, the 39th airport location for Auntie Anne’s, provides fresh-baked pretzels to the world’s busiest airport. The opening also advances Auntie Anne’s goal to expand into new venues beyond traditional mall locations.

Auntie Anne’s opened its first airport location in Pittsburgh in 1992. Today’s airport locations include some of the nation’s largest, including O’Hare International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and McCarran International Airport.

Auntie Anne’s will mark its fourth airport opening of this year with an additional JFK International airport store in Terminal 7, scheduled to open by the end of October. Auntie Anne’s also operates internationally at airports in Honduras and Thailand.

Brian Boycan, director of strategic development for Auntie Anne’s, says, “Airports are the modern crossroads of the world. No venue offers such a perfect mix of traffic and exposure for our on-the-go product lineup.”

Auntie Anne’s newest airport franchise is owned and operated by The Grove Inc., which brings 29 years of airport concession experience to its first Auntie Anne’s franchise. The company operates 52 businesses in airports across the country.

Customers who visit Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International can enjoy selections from Auntie Anne’s full menu, including a variety of pretzel flavors and dips, Pretzel Dogs, Pretzel Stix, signature lemonades, and Coca-Cola beverages.

Auntie Anne’s newest product, the Pretzel Nugget, is a bite-size, portable snack to grab on the way to the gate or on the way to the car.
