Atlanta Bread Company Moving Into New York

Atlanta Bread Company announced today an agreement with franchisee Barry Gersten to open up to 30 Bakery Cafes throughout the state of New York, which are expected to open over the next five years. The Bakery Cafe has already committed to opening in Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York City, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk and Westchester.
Gersten said, "I have been impressed with Atlanta Bread's ongoing support through the franchising process, and I look forward to providing its high-quality product at a good value to my customers."
Jerry Couvaras, president and CEO of Atlanta Bread Company said, "We are confident that our approach will allow us to continue to grow, and we are focused on finding the locations that will conveniently bring our Bakery Cafe concept to neighborhoods across New York."
