Aurelio’s Pizza announced it will donate a percentage of proceeds for all dine-in, carry-out, delivery, and online food and drink purchases chain wide, made from October 13 to 19, to Advocate Children’s Hospital as part of its annual October fundraising campaign.
Aurelio’s Pizza has supported Hope Children’s Hospital in numerous ways since 1998. Every October, Aurelio’s leads the Aurelio’s Pumpkin Project whereby customers purchase paper pumpkins for $1 to hang in Aurelio’s restaurants and other area businesses. For the second year in a row, Aurelio’s has decided to raise awareness of the hospital and expand its fundraising effort by enlisting its customers through a donation of a percentage of sales across all locations. Last year, Aurelio’s raised $10,000. Again this year, the total donation will be based on overall sales and Aurelio’s is guaranteeing a minimum donation to at least match previous year’s donations and hopes to donate much more.
In addition, Aurelio’s Pizza is celebrating a special honor during its week of giving as Aurelio’s president Joe Aurelio, an advocate for Advocate Children’s Hospital, is being presented with its first ever Hearts for Hope Community Service Award. The award will be presented on Saturday, October 19 during the Advocate Children’s Hospital Halloween Bash at Chicago’s Zhou B Gallery.
