Betco's family of distributors will now have an option to purchase products directly from Saalfeld Redistribution – and at the same time gain access to thousands of foodservice disposables, sanitary maintenance products, packaging/shipping supplies, and office paper available through Saalfeld's nine regional redistribution hubs across the U.S.

"Through this agreement, Betco customers now have the ability to mix and match a broad portfolio of stock keeping units (SKUs) that Saalfeld has available," says Bob Gail, senior vice president, Betco. "Also, they'll have access to a supply chain partner that can enable fill-in's and just-in-time inventory needs."

Saalfeld Director of Sales, South, Chris Rowe says "the ability to order smaller shipments than those available directly from Betco will be a major benefit for their customers".

"With this option, Betco's closed loop distributors will have more flexibility in keeping an adequate amount of product on hand for end-users, manage lower minimum orders, shorter lead times, and increased inventory turns while improving control of their cash flow," Rowe says. "While Betco will continue to serve direct orders, this relationship provides distributors with another tool to manage their businesses and their inventories more effectively."

This latest agreement with Saalfeld Redistribution is yet another example of Betco's mission to assist their distribution customers in building a better business by creating organizational efficiencies that will position them sustainably to meet their business objectives. Since 1950, Betco has been an industry leader in supporting facilities maintenance professionals. Our journey has taken us through a resource evolution, from chemical cleaning compounds to equipment and from programs to processes for success.
