Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza announced the appointment of Allen Arroyo as chief financial officer. A veteran of the restaurant industry, Arroyo brings decades of experience to his role as CFO of Blaze Pizza. Previously, he served as CFO for Z’Tejas and Mastro’s Restaurants and held multiple financial roles at IHOP Corp. during his 18-year tenure, bolstering the company’s national growth.

“The addition of Allen to our team underscores our emphasis on assembling a best-in-class headquarter staff,” says Jim Mizes, president of Blaze Pizza. “Allen has a proven track record with established national brands, and we’re thrilled to have him on board as Blaze Pizza expands across the country.”

Blaze Pizza has more than 230 franchise stores in its development pipeline, including multi-unit agreements across the West, Northeast, Midwest, and the South. Blaze Pizza is registered to franchise in all 50 states and is partnering with veteran restaurant operators to support the company’s expansion.

“As an innovative new fast-casual concept, Blaze Pizza understands what guests are looking for: better food, minimally processed ingredients, and engaging restaurant design. Blaze Pizza gets it—and is on a course to change the way we enjoy pizza,” Arroyo says. “I’m looking forward to leveraging my experience and playing a role in Blaze Pizza’s national growth.”
