Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza, started by the co-founder of Wetzel's Pretzels, announced the June 9 opening of its newest location in Louisville, Kentucky.  The 2,300 square foot restaurant is located in Louisville's Shelbyville Road Plaza.

"Kentuckians love pizza, but they really don't have a good way to enjoy a quality pie without the wait,"  Executive Chef Brad Kent says. “Blaze Pizza is all about letting folks enjoy custom-built artisanal pizzas at crazy fast speed. It's a concept I'm thrilled to lend my expertise to."

The Louisville Blaze Pizza will be operated by The Millennial Restaurant Group, one of the largest Blaze franchisees, which plans to develop restaurants in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Florida. The partnership consists of James Patterson Sr., Jim Patterson II, Ulysses (Junior) Bridgeman, Wayne Albritton, and Collins Cogan.
