Blockbuster and Subway Team Up for Give Away

Blockbuster Inc. (NYSE: BBI) (NYSE: BBI.B) and Subway restaurants are teaming up for a regional promotion using free movie rentals from Blockbuster.com to help drive sales of Subway Fresh Value Meals at participating Subway restaurants in 22 markets across the country.

Beginning June 1 through July 5, 2009, or while supplies last, Subway customers who purchase a Fresh Value Meal will receive a special game card directing them to a Web site where they can redeem a promotional code for a free prize.

Every game card is a winner and will feature free prizes good at participating Subway restaurants and Blockbuster.com, among other places. Prizes from Blockbuster.com include free 21-day, 1-month, and 6-month trial subscriptions for a specific Blockbuster Total Access online movie rental plan.
