Bobrick Washroom Equipment has completed production of the Company’s brand new “Planning Guide for Accessible Restrooms,” referencing the 2010 American with Disabilities (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design and the ICC A117.1-2009 Standards for Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities.

The new guide presents the information in plain English and incorporates restroom floor plans and elevations along with blue notes for children’s facility measurements. It is the most definitive resource document for designing compliant commercial restrooms for buildings of all types.

The new standards became mandatory March 15, 2012.

Bobrick has also introduced two chrome-finish, automatic, top-fill soap dispensers for open-market, non-proprietary bulk liquid and bulk foam soap. Top filling eliminates the costs of under counter, while bulk soap reduces soap costs by 80 percent compared to proprietary cartridges at locked-in prices.

The activation system defines a precise dispense zone, eliminating hand waving and false dispensing. Portion control adjustment ranges from .4ml to 3ml, thereby lowering soap usage. Post-consumer waste is reduced by 57 percent when compared to cartridges.
