Bread Connection has recently opened a new store at Chandler Plaza in Chandler, Arizona, and is now serving lunch Monday through Saturday.

Located at the busiest intersection in Chandler, on the corner of N. Alma School Road and W. Chandler Boulevard, Chandler Plaza is an excellent location for the new bakery. With high traffic counts in the area, plenty of parking, and The Home Depot and Safeway located directly across the street, the owners of the Plaza expect the new cafe to do exceptionally well in 2012.

Residents of the East Valley can visit Bread Connection to enjoy healthy and light sandwiches made with freshly baked breads and Boar's Head Brand deli meats and a variety of soups and salads. In April, Bread Connection started serving Lisa's Rum Cake, bringing its customers fresh rum cakes from a store in Gilbert, run by the daughter of the former Cathy's Rum Cakes owner.

Bread Connection also carries a large number of breads such as European-style Artisan breads, Ciabatta, subs, olive bread, cranberry and walnut breads, Focaccia, and soft French bread.

An official ribbon-cutting with Chandler's Mayor Jay Tibshraeny was held at the end of April.
