Bruegger’s Celebrates Summer with Ethnic-Inspired LTOs

Bruegger’s Bagels added three new menu items and brought back a seasonal favorite to offer the summer’s most-loved flavors and colors.

Bringing on the summer heat is the new Jalapeno Bacon & Egg Sandwich, a combination of Latin flavors including a sofrito sauce of green bell peppers, cilantro, garlic, and roasted onions, plus jalapeno bacon, Cheddar, and egg, all served on a 12-Grain Bagel.

The new Edamame & Beet Salad features a combination of beets, lean grilled chicken, Blue cheese, and pickled onions tossed with a honey-orange vinaigrette. The edamame adds color, flavor, and texture for a meal-sized salad.

“We created interesting new combinations for our summer menu that wake up the palate and offer our guests the season’s favorite flavors with our own unique spin,” says Bruegger’s Bagels executive chef Philip Smith. “We also introduced some new ingredients, like beets, edamame, and sofrito sauce, to really bring something different to the table this summer.”

Bruegger’s Bagels also adds a new texture to the summer lineup: New Whipped Blueberry Greek Cream Cheese & Greek Yogurt adds yogurt to the mix for a lighter spread that complements any of the bakery’s 15-plus bagel varieties. Rounding out the summer menu is the returning summer favorite Island Coconut Iced Coffee, which can also be served hot.

The summer menu will be available through September 15 at all of Bruegger’s Bagels’ more than 300 locations.
