Burger King Corp. will present a $5,000 donation and cheer on participants of the iWin Joe Jonas Fun Run in San Antonio on August 13. A sponsor of “The Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009,” Burger King Corp.’s contribution will benefit the Jonas Brothers’ Change for the Children Foundation, a charity supporting programs that motivate and inspire children to face adversity with confidence, determination, and a will to succeed. The donations collected at the race will benefit the Special Olympics.

“Through our ongoing relationship with the Jonas Brothers, we have seen their commitment to helping others, and we’re happy to contribute to a cause that’s close to Joe’s heart,” says Cindy Syracuse, senior director of cultural marketing for Burger King Corp. “It’s great to work with partners who value philanthropy and community service as much as we do, and we wanted to show our support through this donation.”

Immediately following the 5K race, local Burger King Corp. franchisee Robes St. Juste will present Joe Jonas with a check for $5,000 on behalf of Burger King Corp.
