Sherry Ulsh, the senior director of Marketing Finance and Analysis for Burger King Corporation, was honored today by the Florida Commission on the Status of Women with a certificate of achievement for her work in improving the lives of women in the State of Florida.

Ulsh, who has been with Burger King Corporation for twenty years, has an impressive track record of community service. Her work as the Founder and Chair of The Women’s Leadership Forum (WLF) Burger King Corporation earned her the award.

“The Women’s Leadership Forum recognizes women as integral to Burger King Corporation and, more generally, to the foodservice industry,” said Christopher E. Clouser, executive vice president and chief global marketing officer.

“This honor from the Florida Commission on the Status of Women should really be shared with the other women, and a few men, who helped me launch and sustain this effort over the years,” said Sherry Ulsh. “I hope my colleagues at other corporations in Florida can use what we have done at BURGER KING® as an inspiration for programs within their own organizations.”

With membership of more than 225 professionals (women and men), the mission of WLF is to enhance the leadership potential of women within Burger King Corporation by providing opportunities for continuous learning and networking within and outside the organization.
