Butterball Introduces New Turkey Breast Filets

Butterball Foodservice is proactively addressing patrons’ demand for healthful menu options by launching new 4-ounce turkey breast filets. Created with chefs’ and operators’ needs in mind, the filets are versatile and offer new great-tasting, better-for-you menu options. The filets are low in fat, calories, and sodium, and contain no trans fat or MSG.

According to a recent study by Technomic, diners’ interest in health is steadily increasing, with 64 percent of consumers agreeing that paying attention to nutrition is important. Additionally, nearly half of consumers prefer turkey to beef because it's healthier, and 71 percent view turkey as a more nutritious alternative to pork.

Butterball’s filets are individually packed in easy-peel film. The film is perforated allowing for one-at-a-time use. Also, the filets can be cooked from frozen with no thawing necessary for freezer-to-grill convenience.

The new 4-ounce turkey breast filets can serve as the foundation for a wide variety of cuisines.
